For our long-standing client, we are exclusively searching for a Country Manager for their hub in Lijnden.
Are you a commercially driven leader with a strong operational background in logistics? We are looking for someone to take full ownership of the operations and growth within Netherlands.
Our client, Supply Chain Solutions Europe B.V., is a leading, privately-owned third-party logistics (3PL) provider with a global footprint and a strong presence across the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Their commitment to operational excellence is reflected in their streamlined service model, which includes dedicated account management and a fully integrated system accessible across all regions.
Through real-time visibility, seamless communication, and actionable insights, they empower their clients with full transparency over inventory, KPIs, and reporting, anywhere in the world.
What will be your responsibilities?
Operational excellence
- Lead and optimize logistics operations, including warehousing, transport, and distribution
- Ensure processes are efficient, scalable, and continuously improving
- Monitor and drive performance on key KPIs (OTIF, lead times, cost efficiency, productivity)
Commercial growth
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
- Strengthen and expand market position within the region
Financial management
- Full P&L responsibility, including revenue, margins, and cost control
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts
- Drive investment decisions (e.g. new facilities, automation, process improvements)
- You will report to the Global operations manager
Leadership & team development
- Attract, develop, and retain top talent
- Build a strong, performance-driven and collaborative culture
Strategic execution
- Translate global strategy into a clear and actionable local roadmap
- Identify local market opportunities and risks
Stakeholder management
- Act as the key link between local operations and international headquarter
- Manage relationships with suppliers, partners, and key customers
- Engage with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance where needed
What are we looking for?
- Proven leadership experience in logistics, supply chain, or 3PL environments
- Strong combination of operational and commercial expertise
- Full P&L responsibility experience
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent in English (additional Dutch is a plus)
